  • looks like the wrong belt. it looks like the little pulley to the right of and between the crank and water pump is an idler pulley. the flat of a belt goes to the left of the idler. the water pump pulley is how you adjust tension but you are missing the jam nut that goes on that screw. copy any numbers on block and post so someone can ID it. what make and model is it?

  • It looks like an early International and probably had a generator on it. They did a sloppy job of replacing the generator and maybe never had the pulleys lined up. That tensioner is probably something cobbled together to make up for other problems the modification caused.

  • UK built IH BD154 diesel engine fitted to B275, B414, 424, 444 etc tractors. You need a connection in the waterpump to connect a bypass hose from the thermostat housing. MJ
